My design philosophy is rooted in the belief that beauty must be matched by absolute functionality. Raised around meticulous craftsmanship, my early exposure to the marriage of form and function sparked a lifelong obsession with how humans interact with structured systems.
The Journey & Evolution
Beginning with a Bachelor’s in Interior Design and culminating in a Master of Architecture from Woodbury University, my path has focused on mastering spatial complexity. With over a decade of professional experience—ranging from award-winning healthcare infrastructure to complex multi-family developments—I have engineered high-stakes projects through every phase of the user and design-build journey.
A New Perspective
Now, returning to the industry, my approach is sharper than ever. Motherhood has profoundly enhanced my ability to manage complex timelines, solve problems under pressure, and view design through a deeply empathetic, human-centered lens. - Architecture & Spatial Design: Generating standard file templates in Revit •Producing SD, DD, and CD phase deliverables • Creating working engineering drawing sets (arrangements, layouts, assemblies, isometrics).
- Concept & Visualization: Developing design concepts from early ideation through refinement • Producing 3D models and renderings to test and communicate ideas before they’re built • Coordinating presentation materials that make complex ideas legible to non-technical stakeholder.
- Interior & Material Execution: Selecting materials and systems based on function, durability, and how people actually experience a space • Developing finishes, lighting, and color schemes • Managing detailed specification and procurement (FF&E) through to execution
- Project Coordination: Managing and monitoring activities during construction phases • Processing construction documents • Coordinating with government agencies and utility companies for plan check approvals.
